About Joyce
I am a MN Licensed Psychologist and have over 30 years of experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I received my B.S. Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Minnesota. I attended Lewis and Clark College in Oregon where I received my M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology. The areas of my clinical practice include working with issues of depression, anxiety, anger, body image, eating disorders, addictions, spirituality, trauma and PTSD, self-esteem, gender identification, relationship issues, divorce and family conflict.
There are many different approaches to counseling and over the years as a clinical supervisor, educator and therapist my style has evolved into an eclectic one. Combining a cognitive / behavioral philosophy with gentle humor and use of powerful metaphors will help create for you a profound sense of healing and unconditional acceptance.
